I'm looking into getting Hawx for my PS3 since my laptop doesn't have the muscle for it. More importantly I'm wondering if the USB joystick I have been looking at (says for PC) may work on my PS3?

Most likely no, it will not. Not unless it says specifically that it works for PS3 as well as PC.

I very well might! I mean usb works on alot of things

I do doubt that it will work, consider the fact that most Companies (like sony) on accept accessories that were made by them or specifically for their product.
