Looking for some crits. on a new piece.

I just started a new project this morning and wanted a little feedback from you guys. I know the piece needs some perspective and a little more color blending. But I just wanted to see what you guys had to say, and get a little input from the art community here.

The colors are vibrant and beautiful, however you need to keep consistancy with the tree and its branches.

For example the thickest part of the tree, is one of the branches, it should be the trunk and up.

Nice job! The colors your choose really bring out the tree. I dont know how fimilar you are with balance in a piece but maybe if it were centered or the picture extended off to the right more, it would look a lot better to me. Thats of course assuming the pic didn't get cut off.
