TF2 Laptop Problem?

Hey all,
Well heres the problem. My laptop runs Left 4 Dead perfectly and smoothly, but funnily enough, it runs tf2 very laggy. This is very frustrating when I try to play tf2, although i do make crazy sniper shots b/c of my lag .

Well, TF may be more graphics intensive. Check your specs with TF's suggested, and see what needs upgrading!

usually lag refers to your internet connection. Is that what you mean, or are you getting low framrates on TF2.

I have a notebook i used to play on and could play l4d at medium settings, 1280x800 with frames averaging 30. TF2 hovers right around 20 on the same settings.
