"where am I?!?!?!"

Obey your master
This morning I woke up and hopped on the VROD and headed north. I didn't really have anywhere to go I just wanted to ride. I rode for about an hour and a half on back roads when I realized I didn't know where the hell I was! I was as lost BIGTIME! I kept heading to what I thought was north when I heard this huge rumble over the sound of my bike. I look up and it's 3 Apache attack helicopters in line formation like 100 some-odd feet above me. Now I'm kinda freaked.

5-10 minutes later I finally hit a highway. I pull up to the light and I realize I'm looking at Fort Hood Army base in Killeen. It explained the helicopters but it didn't explain how the hell I got there!

So, what started out as me planning on riding for an hour or 2 ended up as a 200 mile round trip.

With my luck I'm surprised I didn't ride on to the shooting range or something.

You did, the missile type they were testing today just isn't particularly speedy.

You don't have any loved ones or family heirlooms in the immediate vicinity, do you?

I've been near there! If you some of the best barbeque on the planet, check out the Salt Lick Barbeque located in Driftwood, TX. If you don't believe me, ask Wanderer; he's been there too. It would be a nice ride in the country.

Been there. I gotta disagree though. Coopers in Llano = best BBQ in the world.

Wow, that is a far ride. I've never been to Killeen I don't think, but I've definitely seen helicopters around Austin. Mostly blackhawks.

MoP, your life never ceases to amuse me.

Lol, I ain't sure that's a good thing.

Lifter, we see b-hawks all the time because they fly out of Camp Mabry.

Mop you probably would have found someone on the military base who you banned on our ego servers and would have been locked up in the stockade :p
