Re-cycling factory made Gateway...

Plays2

Famous
So recently ive been playing in a lil laptop that can barelly play TF2 at 25 fps + lag. But turns out that im gonna get a 2008 Gateway that has:
-Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4 ghz
-4 gigs of RAM
-2 HDD of 500 gigs each
-Integrated Intel Graphics
-2 Mic and Speaker ports
-2 flash drive ports
-6 USB ports
-22' HD monitor (that's broken BTW)
-Logitec keyboard and mouse
Now, why do i post this, well i need help getting the Video Card, possibly a new Monitor (22'-24'), New Speakers (with subwoofers) and the remaining money in games with a $450 budget.
I like FPS, 3rd Person Shooters and Action/Open world Games.

Your definitely going to need a graphics card. Since your on a budget, ATI is gonna be the way to go.

here we go again:

Could you please open it up, and look at the sticker show below, then can you list what is in the graph for us.
It should look like this:

Im pretty sure you do, but could you check if you have a PCIe slot? It should look like this (blue ones in this pic, note: your color may be different):

Or simply the model number should suffice... Since you can find all that information through Gateway's website...

Ok, i cant tell u guys the model of the Power supply yet since i havent received it, but what i can tell you is that it has 1 PCIe port, and a PCIe 2.0 pot (said in the box, but hopefulyl it will have more).
