On the Fence

I'm on the fence about this new sig care to comment?

1: Full gradient maps, removed in front of her eyes to emphasize the focal point.

2: No gradient maps, no black/white effect.

I like the second one better, I'm not a fan of heavy black and white, you may want to try adding splashes of black n white going with the flow of the sig... but I love the texture, how did you accomplish that. (The almost film grain effect)

Well a splatter will ruin the effect i was going for, which was a still of her breaking through something, hence the shattered pieces behind and in front of her.

I achieved the 'film grain' from placing a texture on top of everything and changing the blending setting to overlay I believe. I could sent the texture if you'd like.

You may be on a fence. But I'm on a boat. And a horse. An amazing horse.

I hope your not quoting one of those oh so silly old spice commercials. You know the ones designed by dozens of marketing experts to specifically target your demographic, for the oh so silly reason of making themselves dumb rich. amirite?
Next time you see one, just ask yourself one question. Why are they trying to make me laugh? Do they enjoy comedy as a whole? Are they just that nice of a company? No they employ comedy because if you laugh at the commerical you are more likely to buy their product.

oh lord did I go on another rant?

You crazy kid. Its called good marketing xD I like the one with the gradient map, it makes it more appealing to the eye. Kind of like the Old Spice commercials but they appeal to your mind.

And how'd you do that, eh? By exploiting the workers. By hanging on to outdated imperialist dogma which perpetuates the economic and social differences in our society.

Also, personally I'd go for something more inbetween the colors of the two. If I'd have to choose, I'd go with the first one, just because it has more "style" and the warmer colors go nicer with the eyes.
