m1 garand is condiser as a assault rifle but it all kit


it is standard issue rifle during 1920 to 1940s same as m14. i might make another poll later on but i keep this the standard weapons in bc2 at this point

The m1 garand was definitely NOT an assault rifle, it was just a semi-auto rifle. The m14 however was because it had a full auto feature. the very first assault rifle was the STG44, Sturmgewehr circa 1944. The garand had no full auto feature, no selective fire feature, no detachable magazine which are all requirements for being an assault rifle.

Also the m14 was not around during the 1920s to 1940s, the m14 did not come into service till 1957 and was produced first in 1954.

That may be the case but the towel came into production even before the first flintlock rifle, therefore none of the weapons in the poll should be valid.
