Annoying Windows 7..

BowtieKitteh

I made one post
Whenever I try to run a file, I get this error:

windows-cannot-access.gif

I have no idea how to get rid if it. I own the file, and I'm the only admin.:facewall:

Help? :/

Wait, wait, wait.
You're running Windows 7, correct?
Why does that look like Windows XP?
I believe that it's a virus, bro.
Download Malwarebytes ([ame="http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html?part=dl-10804572&subj=dl&tag=button"]Clicky[/ame]),
shut down your computer, restart, and when you're booting up, mash the F8 key and when the option shows up, start in Safe Mode.
Install and run Malwarebytes.

Agreed.

Probably gonna be better to reinstall Windows if you haven't done that in a while though.

that doesnt look like a windows 7 thingy, must be a virus

If you dont have an anti-virus, you should get AVG home edition as its free (i use it too)

That looks like an error having to do with a Visual Studio component available from Microsoft. The exact filename is here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...ab-e2d4-4c96-b39d-37baf6b5b1dc&displaylang=en

i suggest downloading it to your desktop and trying to run it on its own. That is probably an error related to windows update.

Windows 7:
Start->Control Panel
View by->Small Icons
Windows Update
View update history

Do you have alot of entries saying "failed"?
