Are we going to support these?

I've searched the forums a bit and I didn't see any thread like this so I thought I might put this out there.

Apperently there is going to a Battlefield: Vietnam expansion or Battlefield Bad Company 2. Now, I've played the original BF:Vietnam and it was pretty fun. However I have no clue what this expansion will be like.

Now, my main question is: Are we going to support this new expansion for Bad Company 2, and if it's ever released for the PC, BF 1943.

I would certanly play both more then Bad Company 2 (mainly cause i like the old school wartime games better).

Please let me know if this has already been discused. (Like I said I searched the forums and found nothing!)

Considering theres no information beyond its Title, "Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam", and its not coming out until December-ish theres no way to know if we'll support it or not.

They havent officially said if its going to be a stand alone or expansion, they havent announce pricing or what platforms it will come out for. So until we know all this info and can judge its player base theres not sense in speculating.

Alright, alright.

But what about 1943? I know it's...."problomatic"...with it's release date, but I've been waiting for it for a LONG time, and I'm sure I'm not the only one on this. It would be nice if we had if we servers on it (we wouldn't even have to have a division for it).

Also, I do believe that Battlefiled Bad Company 2: Vietman will be an expansion and not a stand-alone game.

I'm sorry bud but bc2:vietnam isn't going to be old time war. It's the same bc2 but this time in vietnam, so I'm expecting new guns and possibly more customizable guns too.

Its an expansion to BC2. So its the same game but new weapons (hopefully), new maps, and balance changes.

Aw. Oh well, I guess it will be nice to see some fresh maps and maybe some new weapons....perhaps weapons from the time in Vietnam?

But I'm more concerned weather or not we wll support BF43. (As you can tell I LOVE this game)

Have you seen the teaser video? It has the same lady telling the GI's "They will give you a medal, GI, but only after you are dead. I am very confident it's set in the Vietnam War era and music from the 1970's. I'm very psyched:

This does raise a good point....hmm....I don't know. I'll be happy either way. But I'm still wondering about BF '43.

That's what i found on the bad company 2 blog. so maybe it is in the vietnam era. All i got was that there's gonna be new eapons, vehicles maps and a lot more.

as for 1943 i don't really think so, unless EA does release it for PC
