Wrongo my friend. Zombies have no sense of water pressure or anything, everything is senseless and they will keep going.

Find some solar panels, get some friends who know what they are doing, and go to Costco.

I didn't mean the feeling of water pressure(zombies can't feel anything), I mean they might be crushed cause I'd be out in the middle of the ocean. Not just some off-shore thing.
Besides, it doesn't matter if they keep going, they still won't make it. In a submarine, go up. In a boat, don't use an anchor. On an island, the rocks are hard to climb.(For a small amount of time, eventually some zombies will make it)
Although, considering that their brains could be the last thing that gets squeezed, pressure may not be effective at all. Perhaps one would need to find a deep point in the ocean and float around there in a boat/submarine.

[Edit] I'm reading the survival guide, started before this thread appeared.
[Edit2] Both plans require the same materials, though, and getting on a building is more likely than getting on a boat.

Well hopefully id get to my arsenal of firearms ive built over the years, and be able to defend long enough until i can figure out where a safe haven would be.

Easy, get 299 of my friends who can fight with me, go to some canyon of some sorts, get mad buff and tone and only wear a cape with plate underwear (Don't know what's it called specifically.) Make spears and shield with a sword sidearm. Then wait for the (persian) zombies and say, "FOR SPARTAAAAAA!" and Attack, and after defeating hordes of (persian) zombies die in the end.

ok, seriously now...
I will grab some gears at a sports shop, and find a helmet with viziers so the blood of the
zombies i whacked wont get into my eyes or mouth.. then id go to wal-mart and grab canned food and bottled water, and finally a military base where i will change all my equipments to military ones and of course rifles and i will grab a radio and a solar recharge panels, hop on a humv and drive to the coldest place i can as zombies wont be wearing coats and if they folo me they will become a piece of ice

and also, i would tell you guys NEVER use fire, as zombies dont feel pain, it would only cause a zombie thats on fire to come after you, you dont want the zombie to light you up when it touches you...
