Any specific budget, because I will max out that 1400. lol
Also, you just need the tower and the OS, minus a case?

Phobus you can always do a wish list in newegg and make it public and give him the link instead of taking a screenshot.

Wishlists don't add tax/shipping, though. Plus screen shots are faster, you have to wait 1~2 hours for the wishlist to be verified.

If you're interested in this Phobus, or if anybody else is, This guide gives you a fairly balanced build for price range.

Image is a bit big.. don't want to fill thread.

That's a nice find, but it's a little out of date, I can tell by the pricing. :p
And besides, all of my info is in mah head. ^_^

It says july 2010 in the guide hehe. Oh and on the build above, does he need a monitor?

If you're going to be going with two 460's, you might want to think about getting a larger PSU. 750 is going to be cutting it real close and won't leave any real room to expand in the future.

I got a 1000 watt PSU for $100 off of Tiger Direct a while back. Granted it's not modular, but a little cable management and it wasn't a problem.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371012 <--- Same price (after MIR) as PSU you selected and this one is a 1kW PSU.

BS, 750 can do dual 460s easy especially that X750.

TPQ is way worse than X750 for this system.

Worse efficiency, worse ripple, annoying 80mm fan, not fully modular etc.

Phobus im looking at getting a computer in the near future like 1-2 months and saw this for cheap.
All i need is the mobo, case, cpu, and ram (ill use gpu and hard drive from this comp)

Do you think that would be a good choice?
Right now i have 117 and trying to get the next 120 in the next few weeks.
This is my first build and compare to the computer right now that i use is extra good.

Oh? Hm. Very recent price cuts, then.
And no, he said tower (no case) and OS only.

The 460s only use 150W each, and the i7 uses 130W.
So lets see, 150+150+130+everything else, so about 50W, just to be safe is 470W. I think 750W is overkill, honestly. But it leaves room for future upgrades.

No, that CPU is jank. Yes, jank. That's not a typo.
So you budget is ~240, including shipping? What's your zipcode?

that cpu compared to a 2.2ghz 1 core...
33764 is my zip pretty sure i dont get taxed
Around 250.

It's still a jank CPU. It'll be better than yours, but it still sucks. My dual core is better. >.>
And I ask for the zip codes so the shipping will be exact.

Ignore the invalid promo codes :p
I'd advise saving up just a little more money, so you can get at least a better processor. Like another $100, so you can have a nice motherboard, too.
Well, a few questions. Do you plan on overclocking, or no, not really? I think I can shave off a few bucks to this 'build'.
