New to BC2

So I just picked up the game from Gamestop last night. Gotta say that im a lil disappointed w/ the sp aspect of the game. Not sure if its my copy of the game, but it seems that the AI wants to go after me specifically most of the time. I thought the enemy was supposed to go after anyone that they saw as a threat. Also I had an issue w/ the mouse movement at the very beginning of the game. Decided to restart the game & thankfully found out that there was a necessary update that was needed. That quickly fixed it. Of course the main reason I got it was for the mp aspect. If you believe that I should just skip the sp aspect & go right into the mp aspect, let me know.

The thing im not diggin is the fact that I cant adjust the graphics in an advanced tab. Im sure that I can get the graphics to look a lil bit better, but not seeing such an option. Besides ive been seriously considering upgrading my video card. After all I have a 9800gt, which is just under 2 years old.

Makes all the difference in the world when it comes to tweaking your graphics and performance.

I hated the sp aspect of this game. Wasn't worth my time, and the only reason I spent the time on it that I did, was because mp was broken at launch and I couldn't get online for the first week.

The multiplayer aspect was the reason I bought this game. If only we could have a game that has Modern Warfare's singleplayer and Bad Company 2's Multiplayer, it would be the best FPS of 2010.

ugh i hated modern warfares single player! It was soooooo boring but i loved BC2's SP

I skipped BC2's single wasnt worth the time in my opinion this games MP is the most frustrating online shooter i've played in my life! I've thought about rage quitting so much time when I'm getting owned but once you get use to the games core aspect of gameplay you'll start dominating and this game gets really fun! Just make sure you pair up with a really good squad *Hint* Stoned Llama and BackJack* =)

I played through sp because I was curious of how the story would unfold. In the end, I got this game for mp. It will take some getting used to, but you will eventually get the hang of it. Simply play as a team, and you will have a blast.

Well now I just finished the sp mode. From what the storyline tells, sounds like theyll be a bc3. Itll be interesting how that will turn out. Also seems that I cant use my name online for bc2. My name is already taken (according to the game). Sounds like I may have to edit my name just a lil (either that or create a different nickname or something). Also the commands menu for sp doesnt work (kinda figured it wouldnt since there was a spec story to it), but would have been nice if it did. There were a few times were I died unnecessarily (mostly due to the fact that my squad wouldnt move up or wouldnt go after the enemy or something along those lines).

ugh COD games have the worst SP out there because of one fact, AI. MW2's AI is not stupid, well it is kind of, but what makes it so bad is that the enemies ALWAYS know where you are, so no real sneaking, the AI has godlike reflexes and accuracy. the story isnt too bad but hey not every game can have the story size of Halo.

personally i always play thru the sp b4 going into mp just to get a feel for the game b4 going online. BC2's sp was meh, the first game had a much better sp

WTH... Did u just say Call of Duty single player is boring?! I are disappointed, i love when the bullets are flying above your head, like in CoD 2...
