Inception: Piecing it together.

Alright heres my Idea on the Movie.

The Top at the end never stops spinning, therefor hes still in a dream.

The reason hes still in a dream is cause he missed his kick, leaving him in that Weird place (4 dreams under) and he searchs for Seto (I think thats his name, the Asian guy) he washes up on the beach, and convinces Seto to kill himself with him to return to the real world (as he did with his wife) but heres where my idea comes in:

They were actually old when the train "killed" him, however, you stay in there for 50 Years, which makes him about 90, he looks 90 when hes about to die. So my guess is his time ran out right before the train hit, causing him and his wife to go back to reality.

Seto and "the main character" (forget his name)'s time however didnt run out, so it sent them PAST that 4th Dream Under, to a 5th Dream, and he shaped his dream to that of what was on the plane, shaping it to his reality he had, thinking it was right. You see its still a dream cause his Top never stops spinning.

Anyway, it was confusing :D , if you have anything to add/contradict, be my Guest.

Yes, but the movie never established anything beyond the fourth level. Limbo was as far down as the characters could go.

OK for one you are correct they didn't show the top stop spinning but it was wobbling towards the end they left it completely open.
but i do think he might still be in limbo i dont think he is in a 5th dream.
You can make limbo what ever you want it to be thats what him and his wife did.
so he is making his dream as if he made it back home to his kids.
and another sighn to show that he is still in limbo why would the grandfather be there waiting for him off the plane.
that wasn't in the plan for what i remember.
My Conclusion is that he is still in limbo and that they come out with a second one where they try and save him.
to perfectly honest im quite confused on what will happen in the second movie.
They did this movie so well that your mind wonders so much on what could happen.
thats what i love about this movie and why i think that it did so good is because it leaves your mind wondering and coming up with your own answer on what happens next.

Or...he just...made it back to the regular world and everything is okay.

I mean, given the visuals at the end, even though it was SUPPOSED to be ambiguous, it wasn't that ambiguous to me, considering that when he last spins the top, it first spins in a weird circular orbit, and then at the very end it wobbles. The dream top never wobbled.

Also, he outright rejected that a fake version of his wife was never good enough. I don't understand why he'd go back on that and recreate his friends and family the same way when he knows they won't be good enough, especially because he'd have to do it somewhat consciously.

So...yeah. At least to me, he just woke up. Also, was it just me, or did the action get somewhat...in the way towards the end? The only part I really liked was when he handed the grenade to the guy on the snowmobile and gave him a thumbs-up. Otherwise, it seemed to just take away from the otherwise climactic moments.

EDIT: Also, I really doubt they'll make a second movie, Nolan is deeply entrenched in making Batman 3 and the Superman movies, plus there's other stuff he wants to work on. Making a sequel to this would be like making a sequel to Memento.

EDIT2: Also, if he WAS still dreaming, he wouldn't have remembered the "beginning" of the dream. In this case, the beginning of the dream is clearly when he "wakes up". That wouldn't make sense considering everything else that was established about going into dreams.
