So is this game just story-mode? From the videos I've watched, this game only has you fighting other real people in the sense of the story, and not traditional modes like deathmatch and the like.

I like the 8 player drop in co-op and the Mirror's Edge type running around, but I don't understand why this is wowing everyone. It seems like Borderlands but with more friends and real people can be the enemies.

Look and feel are important to me too. If I wasn't interested in the story (like I am) I'd get Kan and Lynch 2 just because of the new camera system. My friend is getting it JUST because of the camera system, lol.
