Does anyone know how to do system recovery on linux? Please don't tell me the terminate way or something, cauz i can't figure out how. thank u

most people with experience with linux would just boot from a live cd or the install disk and fix the issue after they get run level 3 access
what distro?
will it still boot and how far runlevel 3 (command line) or runlevel 5 (GUI)
and what is wrong with it im sure i could prolly figure it out if i had enough info.

eh wth ? i can't follow from the word distro. Its a very handy site, i will read it this afternoon. There just was something wrong with my keyboard. when i did m, there gets a + on it. So i had to type holding my fn button down (its a special button on my laptop that does letters printed in a little square on my keyboard.) My numlock was on and caused that everytime I typed an m, it would automaticly get a +. But its fixed now. I didn't know this thing had a numlock in the first place
