my current computer is old... its a p4 3.0 single. 4 sticks of 256, and a geforce 5200. HAHAH. its lasted about 8ish years? so im thinking its almost due... so ill be blunt.. i wont have the coin until christmas time.. so i was thinking of doing boxingday shopping.. this is what im aimming for..

im open to anything... really.. just something that is good and will last like my current computer

Just wait, Southern Island (HD 6000 series) is supposed to come out in Q4.
Also, checking a build this far until you're going to buy is just pointless. Prices will change so much.

to be honest, i was kicking the tire around you know.. seeing whats out there etc. would it be wise to wait for southern island... to come out then look for a 5890 as the price will drop?

Yes it would be.
The 6770 is supposedly as good as a 5870.

If you want my opinion for this build, though,
here it is.

That harddrive is meant as a storage drive, not a primary drive.
Get a different brand of ram, and 8GB is unneeded, unless you're editing HD videos.
Bad brand of PSU.
Why not save some money and get a 1055T?
Kind of lame motherboard. Get a 890GX instead.
