Blizzard policing map creation

I'll go ahead and say that to some degree, yes this is needed. I've played many a brood war map only to find a huge swatisca in the middle with two naturals - no where near where you start.

though they could go about it a different way.

Unlike the original StarCraft, Blizzard is reviewing player-made maps for StarCraft II, deleting those they deem inappropriate. When players in the forums ask why, Blizzard responds, "Because we can."

i agree with this. there are a few maps that are in a way inappropriate especially back in brood war, although i havent come across hardly any in sc 2. This seems like a good idea imo.

I'm not too worried about this. Blizzard knows that the massive success of most of their "Craft" games has come in part to the community developed maps. I sincerely doubt that players at large will miss out on anything (outside of the occasional troll map).

I think that is a great idea.
Hate being in game that you go in and then somthing stupid pops up.

What? You don't want quality maps like this one?

Theirs thousand of complaints on their forums that their policing the maps way to hard, like you can't have any swear words or they'll instantly perma ban your map.

all of blizzards forums are about complaints,
Most of it being
Dear blizzard, Nerf Paper, Scissors are fine, Love always rock.
not really the best example but you get the point.
