Windows 7 Ownership of a file

Ph?bus

EGO Is My Life!
So I wanted to get a new theme, and I did.
But, I have to take ownership of the Explorerframe.dll to do so, so I can overwrite it with the new one from the theme.
So I did that, and granted full permissions to the file. I renamed the original (as per instructed by the tutorial), and tried to move over the new Explorerframe.dll (from the theme), and it will not let me. It keeps telling me that the file is already there, even though I tell it to overwrite.
And help is greatly appreciated.

Actually, I just tried to delete it again (haven't tried in a while, I've pretty much been raging about it all day), and it says I can't because the file is in use.

This made me think, if we have people who can make Windows 7 themes, we should make a eGO theme and have it avalible!

I've already taken ownership of the file.
It just won't let me replace it, even if I rename it.

then you sir must have done something wrong cause that should work for any file and i can no longer help and this message will self destruct in 5 seconds. 5...4...3...2...1... KABLAMO!

No, I followed every direction, but for some reason, this freakin' file is being an ***.

open task manager and make sure there isnt 2 instances of the file listed - if you cant delete, its in use.. if its in use, you can terminate the tree in task manager

happy hunting.

Did not work. Killed my start bar and closed all windows, if I open up a new one, then the process starts again.
