Media Player

I'm asking if anyone know where I can find a Media Player that will let me use the key binds in game, or pop up like steam does while you're in game so you can select a song? It would be a great find. :chair:

I use iTunes while I play, and to get my media keys to work while I am playing, I use mmkeys.dll. Works great!

Winamp ~ You can customize your keys with no third party programs easily. i have it done and set to my actual music keys (Which is what they are for obviously) on my G110

I've tried Winamp, but when I get in game, key binds don't work. Xfire and the music player... now I've heard of that, but I don't know how to sign it up. I have an xfire account.

Bloat? as in? Memory usage? Because i'd have to disagree.

Memory usage, file size, the fact that it tries to sign you up for utter crap when you first install, the fact that none of the original dev team still works for Nullsoft... last good Winamp was Winamp 2.95.

"Nullsoft was sold to America Online on June 1, 1999, and thereafter existed as a subsidiary of America Online. After the acquisition, Nullsoft headquarters were moved to San Francisco, California. Nullsoft subsequently released several new versions of the Winamp player, and has grown its monthly unique subscriber base from 33 million users to over 52 million users over the course of 2005. Nullsoft's San Francisco offices were closed in December 2003, with a near-concurrent departure of Justin Frankel and the original Winamp development team. Nullsoft is now a division of AOL Music."

Ever since, it's been crap.

Works great for me, but hey, Media Player in my opinion is a personal opinion thing ^^

personally for windows i like foobar2000 the best it is very good on memory and anything can be customized and it can be extended. cant go wrong

I googled a quick tutorial how to get VLC to work. I basically allowed HTTP through the preferences settings, etc. Then I did http://localhost:8080 in the web browser, works like a charm, except it won't show the list of songs, it has a "?" there.

Never mind fixed the "?"
