insurgency error every time i right click in console

so i was trying to msay today and when i tried to paste a players name, the game crashed, it happened right when i right clicked and it says my hl2.exe has stopped working then to desktop, the rest of the game works fine its just when i right click in the console.
any help?

try crtl+c (copy) crtl+v (paste)

much easier than right clicking in console anywho
