...that I have now officially been in eGO for one year and a week. Yeah, seriously. The anniversary came and went without fanfare cause I (obviously) haven't been on the forums much in the last few months for a variety of reasons. A lot of you have still seen me around in-game though, so it's not like I have been completely absent.

So...yeah...a year and a week...it's gone by fast. I guess my inactivity on the forums has made me feel a bit detached. I know a lot are wondering why I haven't been posting, and I have my reasons, but I am not going to say them here. Not the time or place. Anyways, I am thinking about coming back if people miss me (I looked through all of the posts in my lengthy absence...I saw maybe 2 worth reading), so....vote in the poll, and if you have ideas of things you'd like to see me work on/write about (new ides or maybe even the resurrection of old ones), feel free to throw them out there.

And yeah, I know there is no "stay absent" or "never come back" options in the poll. Those people can just reply and say it or send me a PM--it's never stopped ya before.

I suppose another reason why it doesn't feel like much of an anniversary because here is the official timeline:

August 2, 2009 - Joined eGO...wasn't active at all on the forums and only ever played Avalanche.
September 30, 2009 - Started O.T.P with Ides of March...switched to Kalt and we (along with xCUB4N and former eGO members Melathor, phantom and Wumpscut) dominated while it existed.
December 5, 2009 - Ides and I decided to disband O.T.P and to return to eGO, bringing all of O.T.P over with us....about a month later I started being active on the forums and stuff.

So...officially my one year was a week ago, but it won't feel like it to me until December.

Not officially back yet...not on the forums anyways. I will be if enough people vote to have me come back.

However, I am the only one who knows how many "enough" is...so y'all gonna have to get your friends (and enemies) on here to vote and to pull everybody outta retirement to come vote/comment. It'd be a shame if y'all ended up 1-2 guys short of my hidden mark/requirement... :S

I think the decision is completely up to you. I had a good laugh reading your posts and it was fun to play ingame with you but to tell you to either stay or leave isn't really our choice in the end.

I think you underestimate how indifferent I am about being active on the forums or not. Several of the projects I worked on took a fair amount of time, but I did them for all of you. Same with the times I lowered and debased myself, made myself look completely ridiculously random, or all of the times I was controversial and fired people up. I did it for the lulz and to get people active again.

Oh really? Well then here's a freebie Random Thought of the Day:



Have you guys seen these newish Spicy Hot V8 drinks? Who in the world are they marketing these for? Was that what tomato juice was missing? Spices? And here I thought their problem all along was that it was tomato juice. Seriously, this stuff is like drinking liquid marinara (yes, I know marinara is already liquid-ish, but I mean that+watered down)...is there some hidden market out there of people who are saying, "Ya know...I have always loved spaghetti but the only thing dragging it down are the noodles and meatballs. I tell ya, if they made spaghetti with just the sauce...and threw it in a can...I'd drink it every day!" or something? Oh but here's the best part...even those who aren't lucky enough to drink it get to enjoy it, because it stays on the consumer's breath for about 10 hours afterwards. Yeah, I spent four hours in a car with somebody who drank one and by the time we got home I was ready to visit my Italian homeland like never before...

Statistics show that most threads are ignored after the first few days they are out there, so things are looking a little grim in the "hitting my mystery mark" (for votes) department. :S A lot of people missed the "I am not officially back yet" part I think, based on some comments.



Also...little-known fact..."session" and "rank" don't work for me in DoD:S anymore (no idea why), and the stat pages some reason take about a minute each to load for me (no exaggeration--I have no idea why it is just them specifically and no other site on the planet), so I sometimes find an excuse to post, just so I can see if I have gone up or down at all from recent gameplay.
