Guild Wars 2 just went epic...

No grind in GW2, Still no monthly fees, Awesome quest stories, event changes, And looks freakin' awesome.

Anyone who doesn't have at least a slight interest for this game will be missing out! Maybe it'll convince other companies to not have monthly fees on their MMO's.

Looks interesting, but I never got into RPG's because I lack people to play with

We have a guild wars guild, and since it will cost next to nothing to create, I'm guessing that eGO may have a division for GW2. I can almost confirm we will have a guild.

A guild, yes. But we would have to get a lot of players and support for us to make a division

The stylized visuals looks good, but the character models from those videos still look like the expressionless mannequins from GW1.

They are talking a really good game about their game mechanics and it's definitely nice that they're trying to do something different, but we'll see if it comes out to really be all the hype that's being put behind it.

uh-oh.... what you do affects the enviroment around you?? i really need this game now!!

This is something that I'm taking w/ a grain of salt until I actually experience it in-game. They said something to this effect about Guild Wars 1 and it was nowhere near as revolutionary as they made it sound. Hopefully they'll deliver but I'm not going to blind myself w/ hype this time around.

The problem is that every MMO ever has tried to say that in one shape or another. The closest that has probably actually gotten to it so far, at least I think, was the "phasing" feature in Wrath of the Lich King with WoW where everything would change as you progressed forward through storylines. (And this can be taken a step further in the new expansion now that they've got geometry phasing to work and the actual world can change.)

The problem persistent worlds is that they can't exist in what people advertise and be fun at the same time. That's boring for an MMO. And despite anything people will whine and say, they do want grind.

They had the logo way before Dragon Age was released.

I'm gunna have to disagree with you there. I have a copy of PC Gamer with this on the cover. (May 07)

In fact I can't find any mention of the game with the dragon logo on it until after dragon age was announced.

The first time they showed the new dragon logo I believe was in August 2009, when they revealed the new GW2 website. However I don't know when they revealed the Dragon Age one.
