Need to make 600 for College

Any one know how to make money other than getting a job? I have 3 classes this year that if i dont pass, I WILL get held back. So I dont want to get a job so I can concentrate fully on school.

Im thinking about possibly selling my 160gb PS3 and all the games and accessories that I have with it. So that might get me 300 at best.

My question is. Anyone know of good ways to make money? I need 600 and then after that the rest will be paid for all 4 years.

Any help at all is greatly appreciated.

Try looking into selling more of your things. Check your family, friends, and others on things they can give you for a free or low price. You would be surprised what some cheap little things cost now-a-days.

If you mean that you have everything you need minus 600 right NOW, then get a summer job next year or something.

If you actually need 600 to get in, well, quite frankly, I think a job is probably the best way to go. Try to get something part time on the weekends, or something like that.

I made a bunch of spending money during highschool by teaching music lessons after school 1-2 days a week. It wasn't a lot of time investment, and I loved doing it, so really, it wasn't like work, and my grades were completely unaffected.

Yeah either that or contract labour or sommat. Do you know anything about computers? Buy $10 worth of business cards & go pepper Walmart & Best Buy's parking lot offering help fixing broken PCs, removing viruses and defragment & registry services for a discounted price. If you don't know much about computers offer your services as manual labour outside of hardware stores.

Tis what I do when I get rather short on the lettuce.

People go to those stores either looking for fixes or new technology - you're sure to get a bite every 20 or so business cards if its a large town.

Babysit, sell stuff, get good at an instrument and play gigs (I made 200 bucks in a 5 song setlist playing drums).

Doing odd jobs would be the best bet, its summer, mow some lawns.

1. Sell the PS3. That thing will be an outdated piece of junk in a few years. Your college degree, on the other hand, will be with you for the rest of your life.

2. Look around your room for things you like but don't really need, then start selling them off on Craigslist/eBay.

3. Get a job.

This will get you past the $600 mark. Even if you can't raise all $600, talk to your college financial aid office. If you can convince them you made an honest effort to raise the money, they will do what they can to help you out.

You can always borrow money from friends and relatives. Just keep in mind, there's no greater pleasure than paying your own way through college.

seriously asking how to make quick money is just funny sure, if you know the right people it is easy to make $800 with only $150 in start-up costs but i cant talk about that here and im pretty sure your American so that wont go over so well.

all right lol's aside on the legit side teach music or something if you know music well enough.

i was teaching music theory, guitar, and bass and could pull $20/hour

and im sure you can pull off a part-time job i worked a part time all through both high school and collage and made enough the pay the bills with it and still had time for school.

Bumpity.

Anymore ideas eGO? Im taking all these ideas in to account guys so dont think im ignoring them. And NCA I do plan on selling the PS3. Besides I can just save up and build a kick ass desktop that will be good for anything including gaming and last for 5 to 6 years maybe more depending on how top quality the part i buy are. And that can usually be done for around 1k.

seriously?
sell everything you can on craigslist/ebay .... or ............................ Get a job. (the whole worlds doing it!)
its just the way of the world, imagine the people doing more classes than you and still working? you have to prioritize your stuff bro!

and becareful with plasma, once you do it your supposed to keep doing it... it should be once a week or twice a month..
But the point is, if you do it once or a couple times and completely stop... well lets put it this way, you go do your own research of what will happen to your body :p

Just out of curiosity, if you get money in return for donating plasma, aren't you technically selling plasma?

Yes, which is legal, selling blood is what the FDA said you cannot do. When you give plasma they put your blood back in and keep only the plasma, which allows you do it twice a week (max times per week) with a waiting period of atleast 2 days between those visits.
