Well, through the months in eGO, as a admin I always remember the days as I was a wee little e, all the fun times I had in jail looking at people with eGO tags and think "Wow! Those guys are cool!" the good old maps that were always fun to play in jail. Meeting people who would be good friends through the whole process of getting promotions and such. And meeting a ex-eGO admin who was like a teacher to me named Existence. Going on to a server that I knew was always friendly and great at the same time. Everyone who was on the server was always cool and relaxed and not uptight.

I don't know about you guys, but I miss my days as a e. Not saying I want to be one again, just talking about the past. So when some of you guys dread being a e or want to get promoted really fast. Try to savor the time as a e, time flies by fast in eGO terms, as we always need fresh new admins. Have fun and Peace.

Nice thread TransparenT:)

Ive noticed that a lot of e's are focusing on getting promoted when they should be trying to have fun and make friends because when you get promoted, you will miss those days as an e, not saying you want to go back but you will miss them so make them good and something to remember.
 
I remember the days when I was an e :glare:

When I constantly pwnt the former e's every time they tried to boss me around in the jail. I dont take orders from no warden. Like...yesterday...

Seriously though, when theres a guy breaking all the rules when no admins are on it's not too good to have no G. So it's pretty understandable to strive for a promotion. Besides, it's not like you can't play after you get admin privs

i have loved my time as an E (all 6 months) great times great friends. I look at it like i'll get promoted sooner or later but till then ill have me some fun!!!
 
I had more fun as an e tbh. Now it's just ban the freekiller look at the freekiller theres a freekiller do something about the freekiller.
 
I was only an e for about a week, but I was an eG for 6+ months.

I do agree, eGO time flies. Seems like yesterday Ric and Red Serpents just joined and they were using Ventrilo for the first time.
 
Maybe I should try to focus on enjoying my time an an e. I know we all hate being one you guys, but just think, being an admin is cool but comes with a lot of responsibilities! It's like being a kid and growing into an adult! We start out with no responsibilities, but as we get older we realize that we do have them and they need to be dealt with. Thanks for opening my eyes Transparent, i am going to start enjoying my time as an e!!
 
Such a great post! I am enjoying my time as an "e", and I am going to keep enjoying it till it comes time be promoted.
 
I think the most fun I had was as an eG. You could be carefree like an e and make friends but had all the perks of being an O except banning and bomb dropping. I find as an O ppl will complain to you more often on why you could fix this or this or why "you" (because all admins are the same of course!) don't enforce the rules 24/7.

tl;dr enjoy being an e :) getting admin power is good, but making friends is even better

Yea, i miss those days, i was more active back in the day too :(

However, since i was only an e for about a week or two, I would say my time as G was the best.
 
Good point but as mentioned above, when someone comes on and they are cussing alot and just breaking server rules, having the g counts.
 
the good old days when jail was good aw i miss em. Having 20 people in one vent room planning a massive rush to armory. Good times, good times. But now most of them left eGO, quit playing css, or got promoted to eGO and think there to cool for the old friends
 
Ah. A lot has changed since 2 years ago. All the O's I looked up to. (Who are now retired.) Good times. Good times.
