GUI's since the update

Since the CS:S update, no old HUDs, backgrounds, etc. will work in CS:S (notice: only the old ones, some new ones have arisen). I was wondering if someone could tell me if there is an easy way to fix this, I only want a background, and it won't work...I could have posted this is Tech Help, yet you guys ought to be the experts...I mean, you play it. xD

Tech Help section. I would think they would know better facts then us.

Try looking something up on fpsbanana.com

they might have a converter or something. Im guessing it wont work because of the engine update.
