So I just got the first five volumes today cause of the no tax day and buy 4 get the fifth free sale at Borders and whatnot. So far I'm liking what I'm reading and was wondering if anyone here saw it yet.

Is it any good? As accurate as the books?

Pssst - Sexy, this is a good time to lend your review for this movie

I have yet to see this as i was working today but i must say I am a big fan of Edgar Write. He directed two of my favorite films of the 2000's and since those movies are his only two feature films until now I have high hopes for this films.

I read all six, fantastic graphic novel series. I'm seeing the movie tomorrow, and from what I've seen the movie is accurate to the book with %50 more fights than the book. For instance.

* Lucas Lee's Stunt Team wasn't in the book
* Gideons (ninjas?) weren't in the book

there may be more, but I haven't seen the movie.

The movie had, surprisingly, some of the best casting decisions I've witnessed in my lifetime. Michael Cera actually plays a decent Scott Pilgrim. Calkin absolutely steals the show as Wallace Wells. Chris Evans plays a hilariously believable Lucas Lee. All of them are great. Ramona may have been a little bland and lifeless, but no worse than she actually is in the book series.

I'm a big fan of the comic series from way back, and I'm glad Edgar Wright did a good job adapting it. Sure, the story is a little rushed (It's covering six volumes in two hours after all), but I was impressed in the end.

I can't wait to read the 6th and watch the movie.
I'm so hyped for Scott Pilgrim that I made a Minecraft skin for his character.

Sexy is always in a million places at once answering peoples prayers.

Only one question Sexy, are you Forum Jesus?

who says that jesus isnt a wizard from the future that decided to go back in time and have a religion based after him?

its a perfectly believable story

because you know that is what would happen if/when time travel is made possible

people would go back and make themselves gods

Being slightly skeptical going in, I realized I was dead wrong. All the battles got a flash of Mr Wrights' brilliant screen writing, making them perfectly applicable for both fans of the movie and comic. The talking bits from the comic were scimmed a lot, but the funny and interesting bits of conversation were kept in to great effect. The only downside is the parts of the movie that would be volume 5 and volume 6 are completely absent, however Edgar Wright fixed this right up with some more brilliant screen writing.

For those who read the book, heres the parts that you may find to be negative (I didn't)

* The Twins are not Robotics Engineers anymore, they're an electro/techno band.
* The ending is similar but different from volume 6s ending.

My favorite things about it:

* Scott really knows how to speed level
* Nega Scott!
* Wallace is the best sidekick ever
* Seven Million Dollars
* COMBO!
* REVERSAL!
* Balls +6, Heart +4, Guts +5
* Garlic Bread
* Subspace Highway
* 2 PLAYERS!
* Sex Bomb-Omb
* That girl is a boy too
