Well in game i am having trouble. People see me before i can see them, for example a guy runs around a corner and shoots me, no he is not a HAXOR! he simple saw me first because of some lagg i am having. i dont have any choke my fps is 80-150, and my ping is 50-60. what is happening, if i record myself you can dystincly see that they show up and i dont shoot in the video, because in game i cant see them yet. HOW DO I FIX THIS? THIS IS REALLY MAKING ME RAGE!

Lifty try updating your drivers (it might help) and google it or something... look it up on steam im sure there is an answer somewhere.. just dig 
Have you set up all your cfg commands yet (rates, ect..). If not there are some good posts here that can get you going.

I honestly don't see the point in that. I never use cfg's. All my PC's run the game perfectly out of the box
there are alot of reasons (which ones are best depends on your hardware and network connnection). basically, cfgs help you run the game well from a client/server perspective as well as from a hardware perspective. If you hardware is not as great, there are console commands that remove some excess rendering or some useless physics objects. There are also commands that help optimize client/server communication (rates, ect). Your right, they are not needed, but the do help make a good thing better, IMO at least.
