TF2 League: Season 2 PLAYOFFS!

Week 6 is coming to a close, and we will begin the Playoffs shortly! We are going to have a single elimination tournament-style to determine the winning team for the League.


Here are the current standings of the top 8 teams:

1st- Crocket Power
2nd- the butterflies
3rd- CHEESEPAT
3rd- Hogans Heros
5th- igpb
6th- Revitalize
7th- Bloodbath&beyond
7th- Kritastrophe
7th- Failboat


Currently, we have a 3 way tie for 7th place, and as you guys know, only the top 8 teams can move on to the official Playoffs.

There will be a 1 week break to determine the 2 teams that will be moving onto the playoffs (from the 3 way tie for 7th).

Playoffs will resume promptly after the 1 week break (August 25th). Line ups will be posted in the next post.

We will hopefully have SourceTv up and running once the Playoff matches start.

I would like to personally thank everyone who has participated so far in this years league and congratulate all of those who are moving on to the Playoffs! Good luck to everyone.

Grats to the guys who made play offs! I can't wait to see who comes out of this on top :)
 
How exactly does SourceTV work? I assume it's like a super spectator mode? Is there anything to install? Three Questions in a row?

What SourceTv is, is that you basically get to spectate the match, without being in the match server. We will probably be using a 3rd party website to actually stream the video, since if we have too many people in SourceTv, it would cause the server to lag.

7 is totally better than 1

A) it is a larger number
B) a one is just a bastard son of a 7 they have similar markings but a 1 just did it wrong
C) When a 7 wins its more of a victory a 1 can only meet expectation or fail miserably but a 7 is like RAWR WE WIN NO ONE BELIEVED IN US AND WE PROVED YOU WRONG NOW KISS MY RING CUS WE ARE THE CHAMPION!

So who do you guys think is going to win the tourney? I bet 5$ Team Butterflies will win this tourney. Btw gratz to all that have made it this far! GJ :)
