Soo.. MAUL.. how's it work??

Hey guys, soo the title of this post pretty much sums it up. MAUL.. how does it work?? Are people watching it, or controlling it? Or is it like some program that keeps everything organized and in check? Also, how did the MAUL system come to be?? If anyone could inform me and curious brain on the answers of this question i would be very thankful :J

so, yeah.... Its mainly to keep track of the bans... yeah...

Ok, bascially agent86 and Dominion created it a year ago now. You enter your steam ID and it basically tracks you. They use MAUL to easily grant admin to players.

MAUL also tracks bans and through that system players can contest their ban easily too.

Well basically it's plugins on the server that puts information into a database. The database is loaded/edited by MAUL.

A similar project to MAUL would be SourceBans.
SourceBans is free to the public, so if you REALLY want to know how all of this works start there.

MAUL is the Modern Admin Unlimited Something or Another. If you are luckily chosen for a promotion, MAUL will enable you to use it.

Now if you get banned, MAUL will be able to show you your bans, reason, banning admin, time, and all that stuff.

So overall, its a genius system that we should all be thanking Dom and Agent for

MAUL is code for a bunker built by agent86 and Dominion in the deep mountains of Inner Mongolia where all of the happenings in the servers are backtraced to. The walls are covered in 50' TVs, each dedicated to every server eGO runs.

They sit there everyday with their pizza boxes and Coke Zero cans, all hours to make sure nobody done goofed up in our servers.

If somebody cusses or breaks any rules in our servers, they immediately pounce into action and make sure that consequences will never be the same for the violators.
