left 4 dead 2 worth it? or other games.. etc

Killing Floor. :)
I won't lie, Crysis wasn't as "amazing" as others have made it out to be. Get L4D2 if it has to be one of those three

Crysis isn't really worth it. Just get the demo and see if you can run it. And if you can, enjoy (I personally find the graphics pretty overrated).

L4D2 is fun, but gets boring after a while.

i can run any game out right now

IMO, L4D2 didn't have the compelling staying power of the first L4D; that is, it got boring faster...

For a game right now, have you played Borderlands? Still an awesome time, with new DLC comming soon.

Do you need a game RIGHT NOW? If not, maybe pre-order Fallout: New Vegas, MOH, Homefront, or Dues Ex ?

L4D and L4D2 are both great games to get in my opinion. It's also a game that will be playable for some time due to all the custom maps and campaigns that gamers make. I still play L4D once in awhile because of the custom campaigns. Nothing like being back in Raccoon City.

Other L4D2 servers have their own custom settings which changes the gameplay quite a bit from the norm. For example, I was in a 20-man slot server, campaign mode, expert, with larger ammo clip, and laser sights built in. All I can say about that server is: FUN!

Borderlands is a great game, and with all the DLC's it has out and coming out, a solid choice to play and replay.

Singularity: I'd pass. From the reviews I've read, it's a decent game, but borrows a lot of game ideas and mechanics from other, well-establish games (Half-Life 2 for example).

Barring that, you can try looking at what game specials Steam has. Who knows? Maybe you can afford buying both Borderlands and L4D2 because one (or both) is on discount?

check some reviews on the internet it will sure to help :) but i would get left for dead just beacsue i have a fascination with survival games >.<
