Admin Application

Not too sure this is where Im supposed to put this, but this is my best guess, So yeah... I want to apply to be an admin ^_^ not sure if you need any background info or anything, I just hope to be a good admin by abiding by the rules and keeping griefers and rule breakers out.

How it works is, you join eGO and become an e. Then someone may promote you to eG, which is partial admin powers, depending on how much a part of the community you are, upon which you attend a class. Then if you're good enough as an admin after that, you get full eGO admin powers, upon which you attend another class.

All you need to do is be an active part of the community and a good person. Participate in events, play in the servers, browse and post on the forums, spend some time in Ventrilo and if leadership thinks that you're up to the challenge they'll slap a G on that e right there.

Keep in mind that you don't have to do all of those things until you want to die; just enjoy eGO and what it has to offer.

Its the same for every community ive ever been in, if your a nice roll model, you will advance in the ranks during your time in that community.

Hi Newblood, thanks for showing a willingness to join our awesome community!
Unfortuantely, we don't just give admin powers out straight away, members of eGO have to sign up as "e's" first and take part in clan activities, the forums and servers first before they get promoted to be given admin powers.
There are no shortcuts or fast-passes to admin, not through donations, not through slave labour for the advisors (subject to liability and RESPAWN), all you need to do is just join the community and progress at your own pace!

Basically, you should pretty much think of becoming an admin as a bonus you get over time. It's certainly never been a primary goal of any of the current admins, I don't think.

Hey Newblood -

We're very excited that you are interested in being part of our community. The first thing you need to do is follow this link to the Personnel Service Center and check out the "start here" thread. That will walk you through how to become a member of eGO.

Once you're a member our leadership can begin to get to know you, and then at some point in the future you may find yourself promoted and helping us admin the servers.
