EGO Is My Life!
Lookie what came in the mail today. :)
Here is the High Res album link. Enjoy. :) Clicky!

Both of the cases. Let's take a look at the powersupply first.
DSCN1063.jpg

This PSU has superb packaging. I feel like some kind of king being presented with a gift it's so nice.
DSCN1066.jpg

Isn't she sexy?
DSCN1067.jpg

Fully modular, too. :)
DSCN1069.jpg

So many cables. But that means so many cables that won't be in the case. :D
DSCN1070.jpg

Next up is the case. I will be transferring everything over to this only temporarily. I'm doing it to test the parts. These are for my next build. ;)

This is a huge package. I mean massive. As big as my torso, and I'm 6'1" 200lbs.
DSCN1072.jpg

And here it is, in the metal! :p
DSCN1074.jpg

With the side panel off. Such a sleek interior.
DSCN1075.jpg

And the little things that came with it. Some screws, a molex adapter, this thing to hold the powersupply's cables, and the PSU bracket. I will show more on this later.
DSCN1077.jpg

And finally the harddrive cage. Completely toolless. I love this case. Just lift up on the screw, and slide the tray out, pop in the HDD, slide back in, done. :D
DSCN1079.jpg

And I start the transfer

Antec 300 vs Lian Li PC-K58W. The Lian Li's taller. :p
DSCN1081.jpg

"But it has that bezel on the top that adds a few inches". Still taller. :p
DSCN1083.jpg

Motherboard tray came with the standoffs already in it, so that's nice.
DSCN1084.jpg

Then the motherboard tray itself. Has quite a few cable routing holes and a hole for replacing the cooler's retention plate. Pretty sweet.
DSCN1085.jpg

And the powersupply mounting area. This is all toolless.
DSCN1086.jpg

Just slide in the powersupply
DSCN1087.jpg

Put the top of the bracket on first
DSCN1089.jpg

Then fasten it down. It's very sturdy, too.
DSCN1091.jpg

About to put the motherboard in
DSCN1092.jpg

And about to realize the screws won't tighten at all. :p
DSCN1094.jpg

(Yes, TremendiousLion guessed it correctly, but he cheated. :p)

3500x2500 picture DO NOT WANT, MONITOR EXPLODING AHHH.

Awesome though, want pictures of every step of you moving your stuff into it.

Why did you make a seperate thread for this?
and..
Why is your picture extremely large?

most browsers have a option to fit the page to the width resizing images as it goes.

or at least opera and maybe chrome does

Sorry. I uploaded the wrong pictures. I'm doing high res pictures and low res for the forum.

Resized. :p
I will soon. My friend was over and I helped him order a build. He's getting a Propus, 23.6" HD monitor, 1TB HDD, Lexa S case, 550W PSU and the X-540 5.1 surround sound system for $750. Probably help him build it Monday. Which means there might be a surprise thread Tuesday. ;)

Why not?

I resized it.

Ha, how much did you pay for that case?

The Seasonic PSUs are GREAT quality, and have those sexy velvet bags :D

The case is $100, but it was on sale for $70, BUT I bought it in a combo for $170. So I'm not sure how much I paid. :p
But that's a beastly combo. The PSU itself is $140.

Wow. That is a really nice combo. The packaging on that psu is crazy. Love modular psus, so worth it to spend some time doing some nice wiring, love having a clean case. Makes it a lot easier to do stuff in and show off the PC. Plus I'm pretty OCD about keeping things clean. Loving the hdd rack, I'm still using a older case and it's a pain to do anything in.

Keep thrown up pics, would love to see the wiring job, I like seeing wiring on different cases and builds and how nice people make them look.

I would but there's a problem. The motherboard standoffs are... broken? They don't take my screws. If I try to screw them in, they go in a circle, but not even screwed in at all. It's quite annoying. Going caseless ATM. The powersupply is working just fine. It's an amazing little thing, too. I guess my system is so low power, the fan never comes on. :D

I mean I guess I could upload the pics up until I have to put in the motherboard...

That's really odd, they're tool-less screws right? I don't know why they wouldn't take unless it's a problem with the standoffs. Never fun when something small like that messes up everything. Guess just keep messing with them..

Do they screw in when the motherboard isn't in the way? Or is it just when the motherboard between the standoff/screw.

It's the standoffs themselves, I believe. I have some screws that came with the case, I guess I could try those, but there's only like 5...
E/ Alright, after I post the pics, I will use those other screws to see if they work.

(Will edit this post with pictures so far, but I was hoping for the 1st post on page 2, as well. Oh well)
Oh, so your not using the case screws? The case screws are special I believe, since they are tool-less and might be made for those stand offs that came with the case as well. Worth giving it a shot.

You don't have to rush putting up the pics, just upload them when you get them all taken and you get it all built. You can just update the OP with them, would be better than putting pics on page 2.

No, I used the same screws I did for my last case. I guess those aren't compatible. I've never transfered cases, I've always just built from nothing.

Rush to put the pics up? With my internet? HAHAHAHAHA.
Ugh. I hate how slow my internet is. And it's not a problem. I don't mind showing off my new toys. :)

I will update the OP next time I'm online. Probably in 45min-1hr.

I knew it.

Yeah, but you cheated. :p

Where was I? Oh yeah, screwing in the motherboard.
DSCN1095.jpg

These are the screws I needed. Ugh. I wish I would have known that a while ago. :/
DSCN1098.jpg

And the harddrive mounting system. It's nice.
DSCN1099.jpg

It takes a little more force than one might guess. Just like ram! :p
DSCN1100.jpg

Then just slide it back in and done. Awesome.
DSCN1101.jpg

Moving over to the expansion slots, you just pull back on the lever
DSCN1102.jpg

Then slide out the slot
DSCN1103.jpg

Put in the new graphics card, then flip the lever back. Done.
DSCN1104.jpg

H50 rad installed in a pull/pull (I have to fix that, I just found out they were both pulling in air. >.>)
DSCN1105.jpg

A shot of my H50 from the inside
DSCN1107.jpg

And then of the whole thing. This case is epic so far
DSCN1109.jpg

Wiring took me like 5 minutes. (You may notice I am missing the CPU power cable. I realized when I wasn't getting a signal from my monitor even though my graphics card fan was spinning <.<)
DSCN1110.jpg

And with the top bezel back on
DSCN1111.jpg

And now the front bezel
DSCN1114.jpg

Here's that picture I have in the background, if anyone was curious. I played the guitar my math teacher kept in his class a lot. He took an art class when he was in college. :p
DSCN1113.jpg

Now with both side panels. It looks normal again! :p
DSCN1115.jpg

From the front. That is one giant dust filter, by the way
DSCN1116.jpg

The buttons on the top. I haven't wired them properly, so they don't work. :/
DSCN1117.jpg

Through the window
DSCN1120.jpg

That's all for these upgrades. I hope you guys enjoyed. :)
