Looks like we're looking at (confirmed?) Imperial Guard as one of the 'factions' for Order, alongside the Space Marines. Tech-Priest as a probable class?

Judging from the first trailer, I think Orks/Greenskins and Chaos will be the other two playable factions.

I'm going to find a better way of saying what I said.

Imperium race, obvious. Factions, however, are unlikely, considering what the universe of W40k is like.
Looks like the classes of the Imperium are shown as Space Marine, Guardsman, and Tech-Priest (Also probably Psykers, but they weren't shown). I'm definitely going to be a Tech-Priest.

As much as I wish that factions weren't the case, it's been confirmed. Two "primary" factions to start, plus additional factions and races later down the line. I was really disappointed to hear the news, but it was verified in a recent interview. D:

Games Workshops are completely on board with it so we're not doing anything that violates the IP or the fiction – the details though will be revealed in the near future

Huh...temporary unstable alliances, I suppose?

But wow, they got the base of the game done and are expecting a release in 2 years.
