Summary
WWI Source: Fight in the rain soaked trenches or charge over No Man’s Land to battle in the War to End All Wars. Use authentic weaponry to conquer the enemy, call in artillery strikes to take out enemies en masse, or use chemical warfare to disable your opponents! WWI Source is the first and only World War I game to be developed for Steam. All the current WWI mod teams (‘The Trenches 2’, ‘Fields of Horror’, ‘WWI Source’) have united to develop the best World War I game to the Steam community, using the latest Source engine. No players on as of right now, but there were some on just a minute ago. I'd advise joining the 3rd Marine group, since they announce realism games, that's what gets the crowd pouring in most of the time.
 
I tried this out again for a few minutes but I'm going to have to pass on this one horibly graphics and game play there was one server up and running but ..... just not my type of game I suppose
 
The 3rd MD does several Realism's a week, if you want to join their steam group to get updated on realisms on their server, add me on steam. I am also a beta-tester for this mod, I act as a History-advisor for the dev's to make sure everything is as historical as possible.
 
was popular within first fwe weeks of release but then popularity died off. I hope the devs continue to update it.
