Morrowind

[Symbiotic Disharmony]

I've been playing this game for awhile and was just wondering if anyone else has it or has played it. I loved Oblivion and play it on the 360, but it seems to me that the Morrowind game has so many more quests and a more in depth storyline. Anyway, just wondering if any other eGO members have and play this game.

I definitely love Oblivion and it beats Morrowind in the graphics department hands down. It just seems that it's taken me longer to get through my first play through on Morrowind and while I really like the Mark and Recall spells, it would be nice if they had included a fast travel option as well.

Morrowind doesn't have the travel option and walking all over the land is sooooooo boring and makes me fall asleep.

These games bring to light a startling truth in the games industry RPG's are being streamlined Morrowind is SOOO in depth and Oblivion can be beaten in less than a week if you want to level to 30 then do the main questline not to say Oblivion isn't awesome just easier and its sad but if you ask me Morrowind is an amazing game I still play it quite often ive had it on my first xbox and on pc its a classic

I have it for the PC and while Cyrodiil is bigger, I find that the game world in Morrowind appears to be much more expansive, despite the fact that Vardenfel is rather small. Currently, I'm spending most of my time on Solstheim, working on the main quest line for Bloodmoon.

Morrowind much better than oblivion IMHO. Morrowind may have outdated visuals...but its still alot of fun. I mean common..you cant turn into a werewolf in oblivion. if they gave morrowind the combat from oblivion, id be happy with it staying the way it is visually.

Played both, love both. But now they have something for everyone... There's now a mod that allows you to play Morrowind in Oblivion graphics. This makes these two games so much win that win its self is not enough to describe them.

Played this mod and it works well... Now for the new TES V graphics... may our computers not die from the insanely beautiful graphics you know it'll have.

Didn't like morrowind (you could kill characters that were needed to further the storyline + lots of glitches...) =/. Oblivion was ok, but I'm more of a Fable guy myself =p

Oh man I sunk a ton of time into Morrowind while I was in college. Loved the game. Love Oblivion. I also played Daggerfall WAAAAAY back in the day, so both games are tiny to me lol.

I had a full set of glass armor and weaponry, and I loved the design for it. Plot wise I don't remember how far I got.

Great game. I just might have to check out that Oblivion graphics mod for Morrowind. Anyone have a link?

I liked morrowind so much that I bought it again so I can play it on my 360 at school. ( just requires a small download to use on 360)

And yes, it does have fast travel, though not very traditional. You can take the silt striders, boats, and mages in the mages guild to move quickly around.


Morrowing is hands down, the best RPG I have ever played.
