I heard we are suppose to get a update that fixes some stuff. If so when is it coming out?

ditto, all they do is screw up steam in my opinion

they update, leadership sits in vent and we command them to warn kick and ban people. i think it's kinda fun everyone gets to boss our leadership around lol.
but on the other hand it stresses our coders and everything and then they gotta fix it, so i feel sorry for them
so i feel steam should either fully update DOD:s to something better or just leave it the way it is cause i feel it is fine, except the hit boxes,

valve trying to fix their game? Prepare for the worst, everyone! Horde food, find shelter, etc.

but it is broke...horribly so
-i cannot alt tab back into game (result of a past update)
-I cannot run in fullscreen without turning off ATI catalyst A.I. (also result of a past DoDS update)
-hitboxes suck
-audio and video settings rarely stick following an engine restart
-alt tab glitches (for those that are able to alt tab)
-parts of anzio where you can see through walls
-numerous map exploits on avalanche
I have alot of those problems too. My alt tab function is the worst by far.
Now when you shift tab and talk to other steam friends, you can now to more than one friend in one chat box....Thank you Steam. :facewall:
I agree with Blue. i cant even alt-tab. if i alt-tab i cant get my game back up...
I think this rumor started out of the CS:S update...
It's very unlikely (read: impossible) they will ever update game contents for DoD:S.
The parts of Anzio where one can see through walls have been there since the beginning of times... Valve didn't fix them when they actually still cared, I doubt they'll do it now ;(

The next content update you'll find for any Day of Defeat game will be DoD3 to coincide with Half-Life 3. Being that we're still waiting for Episode 3 I don't want to imagine when either will be released. I think DoDS has the legs to survive until DoD3 comes out anyway, and then in three years we'll be sitting around e-campfires reminiscing... "Ohhh remember the Carbine in DoDS? That thing was amazing, what do you guys think of the Nagant? That thing is OP, even worse than the K98 in DoDS... my favorite map is dod_kursk, I just love the tanks and automatic rocket launchers" .... haha oh, I personally can't wait.
well, the worst thing that has happened to me from an update...is the fact that I can't start DoD properly. Thats why Im rarely on DoD unless there's realism or something else going on.
