Rejoice with meh!

For awhile now I've been busy training to be a school bus driver. The ONE hurdle that I had to pass was taking and passing the CDL Class B Practical skills course.

For those not knowing what this entails, imagine attempting to park a 45ft long, 15 ton vehicle. Then imagine trying to make that vehicle move in a backward serpentine (aka driving in two S shapes backwards) through cones with only your exact vehicle length between them. THEN imagine being failed for the smallest missed thing, because you will be classified as a professional driver... and in the case of a school bus driver one mistake can cost your life and the lives of 72 children.

Suffice to say, you have alot of nerves when you take this test. I had failed once, due to a mistake on my air brakes. Today was my second time taking it (out of three chances) and I am proud to say I passed. I iz now a professional commercial driver of PA.

You may rejoice with me! :w00t::thumbup1:

Good job. very well done!

my dad went through something like that. Except he went for his class A license, And one of the items to pass the course was to parallel The big rig he was driving between two ropes. (obviously you'd never do that in real life...just not practical) but if he hit the rope it'd be an instant fail. Took him 3-6 tries i think.

1 Tip, be a cool bus driver, and listen to good music, not crappy jazz, listen to rock. And when a kid is acting out, tape his mouth shut and tie him down to the top of the bus. It's the only way to calm them down.
