Not going to be able to do that any time soon, started college yesterday and have 8 classes. I wont be online much so all I can say is practice practice practice and dont quit.

Well that sucks, good luck with college. Im not too worried about it now, i fell in love with the DR yesterday. Just going to stay in the less populated servers that way im not ambushed by an enemy everywhere i turn.
lol well id say don't train on blackmesa because alot of good spys play there and were already spy crazy because of it so beginer spies or averge spies ussually get eaten up spit back out and crushed then mailed back to spy school with a nasty letter
But then again sometimes egtting pwned repeatly actually helps you get better =/ thats how i got good in halo2 back in the day like first week i got xbox live and played halo2 online i got mixed in with some guys that were pro i noticed when i played with them i was ussually the lowest scorer and in privet games they always murdered me but by my self i was top dog and eventually i became about as good as them and stayed that way till i pretty much stopped playing console games

There are lots of good spies on BM (frisky for example), but there are also lots of bad ones. Watch their actions, and you will do better!
Man, I really need to play Spy more and put myself in your memories. I can help you out, but one thing is reaction-to-environment. If you see 12 pyros running at you what do you do? my first thought is stairstab one then sidestab 5 and get killed by the single proro in the group after killing all but one eventually. I don't think, "OMGOMG PYROS RUNN!!!!!!" Watch out for my newly-acquired Fancy Fedora.

First off, do not use dead ringer....do not become one of those spies who think they are the best cuz they can move around with it. Cloak and Dagger > Dead Ringer.
Before you join a team, take some time in spec, 5 or so minutes, look at the opposite team, notice where the sentries mainly get placed, find habits of some of their players (pyros mainly).
Be patient, you can't just start stabbing the first person you see, patience. I'm sure everything will start coming to you the more you play.

IMO. You are way more mobile than with a C&D and you don't have to camp.
For Werner and FlyingPolish that said dont use dead ringer. Its too late for that. I already use it. It is better suited for the way I play spy and so far it has been working really well for me. So im not complaining. And I like the C&D but it drains too fast. And if you bump into an enemy while its almost empty, good luck on escaping alive. Invisiwatch is fine, I like it, But i tend to make mistakes that cause people to fire at me, thats where the C&D does the work the invsiwatch cant.
Please do not fall into the habit of playing any class exclusively on only one map. It will severely limit your experience in TF2 and how well you can perform. And waiting in spec to "see the player's habits" just gives you a chance to team stack.They may also react differently when facing you so those 5 minutes , which is enough time for a whole round, could just be wasted.
I suck as spy, but im good as pyro and i spy check. from my burning and chasing spies experiences, you can be very good with either the DR and the C&D. However I always find killing DR spys a lot easier, once i burn em the first time i use my spin in a circle bind and i hold down m1 so they have no chance of escaping. So if you're worried about getting burned C&D is a better choice. But both are really good.
I've seen more than one spy running around while their C&D is depleted, I fail to understand if some people are unable to see the C&D depleted cloak, or is it because they're playing on low settings?
Who knows, or maybe they are counting on the replenish to save them. Once the spy is done completely moving the cloak is back up, But if your caught by someone who knows what they are doing they can easily guess where your going and kill you. Thats why when the C&D cloak is drained, I dont move at all. Its a bad thing to rely on the recharge to save you from death in my opinion

Im quickly following your footsteps. The past three times i jumped on Black Mesa I went up at least 17 positions or more.
I like to consider myself sort of a spy pro; however, I don't normally use Dead Ringer. I prefer Cloak and Dagger because I feel like DR is a bit obvious, especially if someone smart attacks you and activates the DR.
