What music do you like?

I like music that I can chill out to, but I can't stand rap (Retards Attempting Poetry). Here are some of my favorite bands:

R.E.M.
Dispatch
Sublime
Phish
Dave Matthews Band
Creedance Clearwater Revival
Tom Petty
The Proclaimers
Grateful Dead

What sort of music do you like, eh?

Rock of the 80's, 90's 2000+ NO country or rap/hip hop... and especially no "dance music"/disco.

Funky Town by Lipps Inc
Get Down On It by Kool And The Gang
Whip It by Devo
Yura Yura by Heart Grow
Castles In The Sky by Ian Van Dahl

Needless to say, a pretty wide variety, and a really long list of artists and singles and this being about 1/6th of the artists I listen to. Don't worry "sugar pop," isn't on the full list. Stevie Ray Vaughan and John Fogerty are as "south" as I get. Selection of rap I listen to is really narrow.

Music I listen to is not limited to the English language, in fact music of other languages is just more oppertunities to learn other languages.

I don't really like Rap or Hip-Hop, but I've heard a couple songs I like. There are a couple Country bands I like, but it's not my particular favourite either. I'm more of a psychadelic rock person. The beatles, moody blues, pink floyd [Especially Pink Floyd. Best. Band. Ever.] that kind of stuff. I like metal, but usually only the stuff from the 80's or early 90's, I don't call it 'singing' or 'playing' an instrument when a guy with a throat disease screams as loud as he can and a guy in the background plays the same note on a guitar as loud as possible. I like some industrial, and I enjoy some electronica/techno/whateveritscalled. I also enjoy some J-Rock/J-Pop like The Pillows or Orange Range, otherwise I don't listen to alot of music outside of British or American rock.

I like most types of music, I can listen to anything except Rap or country without gagging, but here are my favorites (I like to listen to music that gets my adrenaline flowing)

Rammstein
Oomph!
Fall Out Boy
NiN
Godsmack
Disturbed
Gorillaz
Hoobastank
Slunt

I also like jazz, and concert/orchestral music, but i dont have any favorites from those categories, rather i just listen to the radio for those sounds.
