Nah, that's just a Steam crashtest. I fail pretty much the same ones you do. New components come out every month or so, and if you don't have ALL of them, they say you fail. My playing experience is beautiful, regardless of the "failures". Basically it wants you to have an Alienware with the absolute fastest and most up to date technology in the world. Well, Steam, not all of us can afford that!

You should get a memory upgrade though, running at 200 when the reccomended is 500 aint to good o_O other then that diagnostics are meningless =P

o and the steam diagnostics test dont matter much... i failed it back when i had an emachines and could still play games.... yes i was very pitiful back then with that pc

Wow, tooth, you bought memory from a retail outlet? That's pretty risky of you. I personally think the prices and quality of products at retail stores is terrible when it comes to computer hardware. The best place in the world to get memory is www.newegg.com

But hey, if it works it works :p

newegg is pretty decent, but pricewatch.com can help find any part/brand you want for the lowest prices(newegg does come up a lot with it). A lot of the places will have free shipping now and then with no tax, win win for the consumer.

I highly recommend Corsair or OCZ ram. They are reliable and are good ram. I do agree with newegg and pricewatch to be the sites to get your parts if you ever need anything else.
