Hey guys, I don't know what your interests are in graphics cards, but I find them facinating. Please don't take this as any form of fanboyism. Although I do own many Nvidia products, I greatly anticipate ATI's next offering as well (The codename going around is R600). Competition is a WONDERFUL thing for the consumer when it comes to semiconductors. News has been unveiled about Nvidia's latest graphics processor: The 8800 Ultra. I hear games made with Dx10 are going to be pretty amazing. The graphics are supposed to be almost like real life. Better than gears of war.
 
yea, they are pretty amazing. If you want to see what Dx10 is like, I think nvidia released a couple videos of their demos online. Although they are a work in progress, they are still quite amazing.

yeah but itll be a while and GOW graphics in some way look cell shaded but yeah its realistice dx10 games will be hopefully be twice or thrice better than hl2 graphics that will be awesome hopefully ep 2 and 3 use dx 10
