That's interesting. Maybe i can get some friends to try DoD if they can start for free. I hope it draws more players into the game cause that's never a bad thing.
the number of ppl and number of minutes spend playing dods has been steadily declining. If valve doesn't fix the number of flaws in the game the game will die a slow death when the new dx10 games come out. =(

You're right. It's like they actually don't care about fixing things. It's unreal how many times I've tried to pickup a gun or nade and it doesn't work or I actually MOVE the gun instead of picking it up....not to mention the wall mouldings you get stuck on, large boxes around trees, etc. The lack of precision capabilities in parts of the game makes me crazy.....that and 200 yard headshot with the thompson at random.
64 PLAYER MAP ROCKS!!! But when you buy a game from steam, it comes with a pass for a friend that allows them to play the game you are in for a certain amount of time.
