In this thread, you will get information about our new server whitelist. Refer to our megathread here to see threads on things like reset features, public testing information, and more!
Whitelisting
Our server will be switching to a whitelisted server. All players who are interested in joining EdgeGamers RP must go through the whitelisting process which will be handled by our Recruitment Coordinator Team. If you are whitelisted we expect you to uphold our standards and server rules. If you are found to not be abiding by our rules and standards you will risk being removed from the server.
In order to get whitelisted, you must create an application. After submitting your application it will go through period where it will be reviewed by the Recruitment Coordinator Team. In this time period, the GTA RC team will discuss your application and will return back to you with an update. Following this, if your application has been accepted you will be invited to a formal interview with a member of the GTA RC team. In the event that your application is denied, don't give up yet! There is a chance for you to reapply after you undergo a two-week holding period. It is important to remember that all people are required to go through this process to play on our server.
if you are interested in joining our Recruitment Coordinator's team, refer to the Support Us thread for more information!
Why Whitelisting?
There are tons of factors that came into play when making this decision. Our goal is to create a better environment for more serious RP and reduce the amount of rule breakage, hacking/ exploiting, and providing a more enjoyable atmosphere for all of you. This will allow the leadership team to remove some rules and expand opportunity for players while allowing more freedom in roleplay all while maintaining a higher standard.
Applying
If you're interested in applying follow these steps. Make your way to the Whitelisted Application Section, which can also be found here. After reading the threads in there create a thread and fill out your application! Our whitelisting applications are now live and you can head there now and apply, good luck!
