This is a thread for anyone who likes rebelling on JB and feels like sharing tips/tricks for people who are newer and wana learn better tactics to a successful rebel. Just saying right now that I know I'm not that great of a rebeller, but I'll still share what I've learned will help with a successful round if you are serious about trying to rebel. Granted you may already do some or even all the things on my list, but my idea is for us to share ideas that not all of us may have been aware of before. So if you are willing to share, sick. If not then it's all G but my list will be below.

Some of my tips:

1. Don't hesitate and take risks, commit to your actions. Might not always work, but hey you'll never know if you didn't try.

2. Take the time to look up map secrets. This may seem pretty obvious, but the more secrets you know, the better your chances of being able to rebel.

3. Don't waste smokes/flashes. A lot of times these contra's can be used in a tactical way at some point or another to flash/smoke a secret or vent. If you just randomly throw it away you lose any potential it might have had.

4. If you don't know the map that well, utilize the free roam camera mode after a death to get a general idea of the map, and possibly where some guns/secrets might be hidden.

5. Pay attention to Guard positioning/where they are looking before you try to run away. This is important cuz more often then not you can catch them off guard and find a chance to slip away unnoticed, and on the contrary you don't wana run away only to encounter a squad of CTs who would be more than happy to blast a T trying to run off.

Edit to #5. It also really helps to know what your destination/goal is in trying to sneak away, be it a vent/secret or whatever it may be. Not having at least somewhat of a plan is really risky and will likely end in a fail.

6. Patience is key sometimes. I know this contradicts what I said in my first tip kind of, but there are times where you gotta wait for the right moment to do something. I found that a lot of times when I fail a rebel, it's cuz I acted too quick trying to get into armory, leaving hiding spot early, etc.

7. Knowing a vent system before you use it is definitely recommended.

8. If a CT is baiting, go for the knife.

9. Never take gun ST, use or pass that sht. Unless you're in a position where you can't use the gun without for sure getting blasted.

Edit to #9. You shouldn't take ST for a gun that multiple Ts died using/getting. If you got the gun on your own, do with it as you please.

10. Don't let failing demotivate you. Use mistakes as learning opportunities to better future attempts. I'll admit that even though I fail like 70% of the times I try to rebel, those attempts are what any successful Rebel will stem from. Just keep trying and eventually you'll know what works and what doesn't.

That's pretty much all I got in terms of basics. I know it's very broad and general tips, but I didn't wana delve too much into very specific things that may be related to certain maps, etc. Can save these kinds of tips for any of the replies. Definitely interested in what other people might have to say if they feel like sharing, other than that have a nice day!

Did you not read the part where I said "unless you'll for sure get blasted" lol
yea but i just hate the term use or pass tbh, the only time i think you should use a gun is where someone else worked hard to get the gun/died using it and you are able to use it

if you alone did a really hard secret, cell minigame or just got a kill on a ct you can do whatever you want with the gun

Never take ST for a primary. Specifically an assault rifle. However, if you are in a very unfortunate situation where you cannot at least kill warden then well take the ST. If no ST is offered and you have a primary use it anyways, not worth

Another big hint, I treat a rebel as a start of a story. You see someone else rebelling, you have three options.
1. Devise a plan to also rebel, and you can become a part of the rebel story.
2. Sit and watch learn what the good or bad rebellers are doing that is making them succeed or making them fail.
3. Try to keep in view the CTs to help them get a general idea of their location.
Like I said all rebel stories come to an end. Either a successful win or a miserable fail.
