HELP!!!

well, i got my firend into DOD and he has tried everything to get it up on his laptop.

he has loaded it up and got steam running.. everything is fine up untill he tries to connect to the servers.......he can see who is playing but cant connect..any help would be great

I get that sometimes. Does the server info window pop up? Keep hitting refresh over and over again, sometimes the server goes to 2000 latency for a couple of seconds where it does that.

I didn't think so either (the memory is shared with system memory though, so he could potentially have more video ram).

Even with more video ram the actually GPU itself isnt fast enough to render more than maybe 10fps at 640x480 with everything on low and running in dx7.

Sorry buddy.

32 mb cant play source if its shared then get more system ram aka 2 gb is probably like 128 mb for sharded video ram

it still wouldnt help, that Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) cannot compute fast enough even if it had 4gb of video memory.

You can get decent laptops for gaming for a reasonable price... just let me know if hes looking.
