Hello to all the admins of EdgeGamers!
Today we would like to highlight a team with a special task within the community, specifically in our Counter-Strike servers, and they are looking for you! Yes, YOU! That team is our one and only Event Coordinators!
Event Coordinators within our community, and more specifically our Counter-Strike Event Coordinators, are the sole team tasked with making sure that anyone within our community can come to a game they not only love, but also have the opportunity to connect, make friends, and try new things in a game they didn't even realize were a thing!
You may be asking yourself, "What do they do even?"
Not only are the team in charge of organizing and executing great events but they are also empowered to find new ways to engage and entertain those within our community. They have the keys to the kingdom of fun, where they get to pull in members from across eGO to have the most fun they will have in our community!
Now, attending these straight bussin events is a boatload of fun for the eventgoers, but the Event Coordinator hosting the event gets to have all the fun. With full access to all possible commands on our event servers, the world is your oyster for what you can do to make an event fun! Want to host and run minigames? You can! Want to make everyone float with low gravity? You can! Want to cause complete mayhem by doing chaos mode during your event? You guessed it, you can! The sky is the limit, and the only thing that would hold you back would be your imagination.
How do I become an Event Coordinator?
Firstly, to become an EC, you would want to head over to this SUPER DUPER COOL page, read over all the details, and submit your application! Once you have submitted your application, you will be contacted for an interview. If all is in good order on your part, you're in!
What are the requirements?
Currently, the requirements for being a Counter-Strike EC are minimal! Only 2 things are needed:
1. Be at least an eG-level admin
2. Have a microphone and the ability to speak
