A recent implementation was reserved slots for DS members. Essentially, 4 slots are reserved for DS, so when a DS tries to join when the server is full, another person is kicked out of the server to make room for them.
noKicked due to a joining Dedicated Supported/Admin - Get immunity with DS.
Why?
Wdym? Why do you need an admin online when a DS can do their job 1000 times better, if admins want to join #MakeThemPayShouldn't admins be exempt from this kick? Unless they're AFK.
Thank you for the explanationA recent implementation was reserved slots for DS members. Essentially, 4 slots are reserved for DS, so when a DS tries to join when the server is full, another person is kicked out of the server to make room for them.

also this should exclude ct's (if it doesn't already) and admins as i'd imagine that could lead to less than ideal situations.A recent implementation was reserved slots for DS members. I tried that, and hopping from surf to JB, neither worked. That's why I was so confused haha"connect 74.91.113.83:27015"
There is a hard player limit, as well as a soft player limit -- always has been, although hard was rarely hit. I believe the soft player limit is being enforced more now by the DS system? Although I wasn't directly involved in the decision/making of that system, so someone else would have to answer on the exact logistics.almost as if you dont need reserved slots since theres no hard player limit....
kicking somone is wild
