also this should exclude ct's (if it doesn't already) and admins as i'd imagine that could lead to less than ideal situations.

There is a hard player limit, as well as a soft player limit -- always has been, although hard was rarely hit. I believe the soft player limit is being enforced more now by the DS system? Although I wasn't directly involved in the decision/making of that system, so someone else would have to answer on the exact logistics.

I think it was an error, you should have just been permanently banned, not kicked
