I am having major trouble with my desktop, no matter what game I play it RESTARTS my comp, I've tried new video drivers and one that ran everything fine before this issue started with the same result no matter what I play, I can play for a little while then it restarts. I am running Windows 10 with a RTX 2060 vid card and a 1TB mechanical HD.
I am pretty sure this all started with the last windows update as it is the only thing that changed, and thanks to it updating while I was asleep I have no idea what update it was. First it happened on retail World of warcraft, then on WOW classic, and today it happened in Battlefield Bad Compay 2.
I can watch vidoe's on youtube, serf the web with no issues, if anyone can help it would very much appriciated

Hey - I'm sorry I didn't see this before. Are you still having issues?

Edit:

Follow the above instructions. For simplicity, here's what we're trying to do. We're trying to get into Event Viewer to see if there's any "Critical" rated issues that are being recorded when your PC restarts. From a slightly above average guess, I'd assume that there's a driver issue some where and your PC may be BSODing and restarting after. A lot of times, by default, Windows automatically restarts your PC when you BSOD and sometimes, it appears instant. This can be disabled, but that's for another time. Additionally, if the culprit is a Windows Update, most of them can be reverted as well.

Event Viewer usually documents these kinds of events and if this does not work, I'll have you check your dump files, assuming they are enabled.

We'll get you back up and running. Hope to talk soon.

Lower and/or beware of your volume, I was listening to music at the time I made this crude instructional video.

Would it be possible to get together sometime, I have teamviewer on my comp and you could go through it? I had someone do some test and the test said my RAM was bad, put in different RAM and it's still restarting and I am at my wits end

Yes. Let me know a time that works for you and I will try my best to accommodate.

check your outlet and/or power supply sometimes there is not enough electricity going through an outlet to power your pc

I can be on around 12-1215am eastern time tonight.

Do you have a more direct method of communication?

Is it a hard-to-black restart? Is it a blue (or black) screen of death? Describe what happens when your computer restarts, including before and after the actual power restart event. Also do what Ric said.

What cooler is on your CPU? What model power supply do you have? What motherboard do you have?

Thanks.

Before I add my two cents, I want to verify if this is still an issue. Has this already been resolved? Fixing issues like you are having is my specialty, as I have been in the computer and MSP industry for over 20 years.
