With the new payload server, we would like to hear from the members about how we should proceed with the current respawn system. Do we want it removed? Added time instead of 5 seconds, to 10? Do you want the game to handle it? Let us know in the vote or down below.
 
The timer must not be equal between teams if you want the experience to be at all balanced. Unless the first and second options have different spawn timers for Red and Blu, they aren't viable.

I think default timers would overall be better. I do have some suggestions that would make the server better though.

1. Changing the server name from Payload Rotation to just Payload. I'm sure people will understand what payload means and then we could fit edgegamers.com into the server name like the others.

2. Making the ping very low in server browser. It is very annoying to join a server that says 12 ping just to realise that you don't have nearly as much, but as other servers do it, it becomes very competitive to go against separate community servers. Low ping means we show up higher in the server list. Therefore, more people see the server. (I don't know how other servers do it)

3. Similar to Uncletopia, I think class limits would be helpful but not for all classes. I think heavy for sure should have a limit of 2, medic a limit of 2 and sniper a limit of 2. (That's just my opinion though.)

4. Nominate command. I love being able to play my favourite maps in community servers but the lack of nominate makes it so there's just a chance that they will appear.

I might post other suggestions here but those are what I think could make the server a lot better.

1. We can do that, Ill ask the team.
2. When you ping the server for that specific packet of information it gives that ping. When you start playing it starts to add to the ping.
3. Umm I'll ask the team.
4. Maybe? I'll have to look into it.

4. Still need to look into it, been busy all weekend.
 
class locks would be a good thing as i don't wanna push last against 4 engineers and 3 pyros

Okay, but with class locks, why not? Playing Payload is working as a team, if an entire team is eng, then you know how to counter, at least I do. Why restrict people's ability to come to play what class they feel like?

class wars proves that engineer will always win when you have enough of engineer, granted it's not a 1-1 but the point stands that stacking one class will usually play into or against that class. (i.e. stacking pyro isn't the best as heavy/engie will wreck you whereas stacking engie is usually a very good move)
 
I concur with Rose. Engineer, at least, needs a class lock. No other class (with the sometime exception of heavy) is so oppressive when stacked as to make opposition impossible. Some classes, like sniper and spy, get worse when stacked. Engineer is the only class which, when stacked, forces the opposition to play near perfectly and coordinate extraordinarily well. Select the 12 best players on our servers for BLU, then put 12 engineers on RED, and I would not hesitate to proclaim that the better players will fail nine times out of ten.
