Why is this still 59.99?

Just looking for games to buy and I was really surprised that Battlefield 2042 is still top price. The game is 3 years old and has less that 8000 players in game. Idk, I would think they would drop the price to get buyers like myself who are looking for deals. I don't get it. I mean, why is it still this price?

EA amongst numerous other publishers tend to have the culture of keeping ruined, failed, or even good, but just plain old games at high prices. It's unfortunate, then they turn around and remaster the game later and sell that for the same price or higher than the previous one.

I ask the same question with the CoD titles. Many of them are over 5 years old yet they still sell for $60.
